Kate lives locally with her family and as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, provides a professional, supportive and caring environment for patients with a Patient Care Plan (EPC), and for Workcover, Dept. Veterans Affairs, or private appointments which are claimable with appropriate private health cover.

Kate has been in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years, she is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) and an Accredited Exercise Scientist (AES). She has an undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science (BSpExSc) and Master’s in Clinical Exercise Physiology (MClExPhys (Rehabilitation). Operating in Queensland since 2009, her interests are broad and have grown to include people living with serious health conditions, particularly people with conditions such as: Arthritis, Asthma, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), Cardio Vascular Disease (CVD), Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), Diabetes, Dystonia, COPD such as Asthma and Emphysema, Epilepsy, Fibromyalgia (FM), Dyslipidemia’s such as High Cholesterol, Hypertension (High Blood Pressure), Osteopenia (low bone density), Rehabilitation for injury and pain (particularly neck, lower back and hip or knee pain), Joint Replacement, During and Post-Pregnancy, Post-Physiotherapy, Stroke rehabilitation, Sports specific training, Sports Injury Recovery and Prevention, Weight management, and Workplace Injury Rehabilitation.

Research has shown many of these conditions are somewhat to fully reversible, Kate can help you make the necessary changes to improve your daily life. During your appointment with Kate you will be provided with support and motivation along with techniques based on thorough research. This is specifically tailored to your condition/s. Kate will design a program with you that sets achievable goals and ways to work towards them, endeavouring to improve your quality of life and manage your condition/s in a positive manner. You will progress through YOUR program using safe and effective strategies to improve strength and physical wellness. This may include tailored activities, exercise programs, stretching programs - all discussed during your clinic visit. Programs are provided specific to your conditions and are progressed sequentially as your condition/s improve.

Kate operates twice weekly Hydrotherapy classes for healthy, low impact exercise at the beautiful Parkinson Aquatics Centre.


She has incredible rate of retention for her classes, patients enjoy both the energetic and positive atmosphere and exercise.
